Before you buy a REC REC solar panel for you home, it is worth learning a little about the company. REC is a major supplier for photovoltaics. It is headquartered in Singapore. It produces modules, multicrystalline wafers and solar cells. Reliance New Energy Solar owns it as a subsidiary.
REC's N-Peak Series
The REC Group is Europe's largest manufacturer of solar PV panels. It recently started production of the N-Peak Black Series, which has a 325-watt peak power. These panels are manufactured in REC’s vertically integrated manufacturing plant in Singapore. The first panels should ship in April. This new product line is the fourth REC innovation since August 2018.
REC is a reputable company, with a long track record of high quality solar panels. Its products are durable and come with a 25-year product warranty. In addition, REC products have a low carbon footprint. Certisolis has patented and certified their technology. This means that they can be reused.
REC Alpha Pure
Reliance Industries now owns the REC Group, a Norwegian solar manufacturer. The new Alpha Pure-R panel will be unveiled at Renewable Energy India in September. The new model is an upgrade from the Alpha Pure model that won the 2022 Intersolar Award. REC will increase the production capacity of Alpha HJT products in Singapore by doubling their current production capacity.

The REC Alpha Pure solar panels have a low environmental impact and are RoHS compliant. It is also lightweight and compact, making it an excellent choice for residential installations. It boasts a remarkablely low claim rate, high power density and is a great choice if you want to increase your energy yield while using rooftop space.
REC's Pure-R
The Pure-R series is a brand new addition to REC’s range of solar panels. It is based in the Alpha Pure series with an 80 cell layout. This new configuration makes the panels wider and more efficient than their predecessors, increasing their power output from 410W to 430W.
Pure-R panels from REC are distinguished by their low temperature coefficient. This means that they produce more energy when it is warmer. This makes them a good choice for warmer climates. The panels are also strong enough for heavy loads thanks to their 30mm frame and 2 support bars.
REC's 25 Year Power Output Warranty
REC offers a 25 Year Warranty on its Solar Panels. Before you file a claim, you need to be aware of certain conditions. You should first contact the original installer to resolve any problems. If you are unable to contact your installer, you may file a warranty claim via REC. The warranty covers labor and replacement parts.
REC's 25-year warranty for its solar panels guarantees that they will perform indefinitely. TwinPeak products now have a 3%-1.5% first-year rate. The NPEAK solar panel, which REC made available to the public, has seen a 2% decline in its first year. After twenty-five years, the final warranted power output increases to 85.5%, making it an excellent choice for homeowners and businesses alike.

PERC Cell Architecture of REC
REC's solar panel panels feature a PERC (permanent electron resistive cells) cell architecture. PERC stands to polymer electro resistive cells. This technology allows panels to absorb more sunlight. The REC Alpha Pure R is constructed on an 80-cell layout. The panel is both wider and shorter than conventional panels. It also increases efficiency to 22.3%. This makes it the most efficient on the market. The panels also have a higher power output, going from 410W to about 430W.
The PERC cell architecture uses a thin passivation layer that is introduced between the base silicon wafer and the metal contact. This passivation layers has holes that allow for small areas to be in direct contact with the wafer and the material. This allows for greater efficiency and lowers the risk of electron-recombination.
